 The Prism Awards exists to inspire
and recognize start-up, expansions, innovation and community involvement
of this area's businesses resulting in a continued high quality of life
for this area.

Criteria, and Judges below.
Categories of Awards:
General Excellence: A number of awards can be given to
either large or small businesses based on how the company excels in the
criteria listed below.
Pioneer Award: Presented to a business which excels in the
criteria and has been a pioneer in its field for at least 20 years and has
made significant contributions to our communities.
Horizon Award: Presented to a business in operation for
five years or less which has shown excellent growth.
Community Improvement Award: For a community-based,
non-profit organization primarily run by volunteers or with an emphasis
on volunteerism.
Outstanding Business Citizen: Given to an individual or a
business or organization whose activities lead to the growth and
development of businesses in the Eastern Maumee Bay Region.
Best Practice Awards: Given to a business for a specific
campaign to launch a product or improve a product or process (such as
safety). All previous winners of Prism Awards eligible for this new
category.
